Most frequent questions and answers

The practice of self-care is very important as you upgrade the quality of your energy.  There are a few simple action steps you can take to be sure you are set up for success leading up to your session with Lauren.  

  1. Stay Hydrated   I recommend drinking at minimum half your body weight in ounces every day in order to flush out toxins in your body.  If you can drink more than this, great.  If you can’t drink that much at first, no worries.  You can start with what feels comfortable and add 10 more ounces a day until you reach your number. Easy!  And believe me, your body will feel so much better if you do. 
  2. Commit To Getting Good Quality Sleep Whatever that means for you. The exact number of hours a person needs for the body to function optimally differs for everyone. If you catch yourself thinking that you need more sleep, you probably do. Make it a priority to put yourself to bed early.  Or if you can take a break from your schedule to take a mid-day nap, or even just sit in a chair for a few minutes and close your eyes, carve out some time to do this. You will feel a difference. 
  3. Move Your Body Enjoy some exercise as often as you can. Minimum 4 days a week is recommended.  “Enjoy” is the key word here. This could be a 30 minute walk, a hike, a spin class, a yoga class, dancing, or any other healthy way that you can move your body in a way that’s fun for you. The idea is not to push yourself hard, but rather move your body often.  Moving the physical body gets our energy flowing and keeps it flowing. 
  4. Eat Nutritious Healthy Foods  Enjoy whole foods and consider taking clean vitamins and mineral supplements that include potassium and magnesium.  Certain minerals in the body can become depleted through the process of engaging in energy work.  I recommend treating yourself to Epsom salt baths or foot soaks regularly, as it helps the body release toxins and soak up much needed natural magnesium.

As we begin the energy work and clearings you may feel warm, cold, tingly, sleepy, happy, energized, anxious or any other number of various emotions or state of being. You may start to laugh, cry, yawn or cough. Or you may feel or sense nothing at all. All of these experiences are normal. Each individual and their physical body process the flow of energy a little different.

Sessions may feel different for you each time, or they may all be the same. Breath into the process, observe what’s happening for you. Don’t judge it and remember that it’s temporary. Allow the energy to clear and allow your body to release it. Lauren will make sure you are filled up with high vibrational energy before the session concludes. 

Lauren will suggest tools and exercises you can use after you leave the session. It’s best to commit to practice these exercises on your own in between sessions to get the best results. Don’t worry, I’ll guide you every step of the way.  We got this!

Phone sessions can be delivered either over the phone or via a video call through Skype. You choose whatever feels most comfortable for you. Either format is equally powerful.  

I typically recommend a regular phone session (no video), especially in the beginning as you get familiar with the process we’ll create together.  Here is why – in my experience working with clients all over the world, I have found that people are normally able to focus and “tune in” a little easier when they don’t have to worry about being seen through a video call. 

Sometimes an unconscious thing happens when people know they are being seen that can interfere or impede our progress on the call.  For example, if someone is feeling highly emotional, they may try to repress these emotions, which can lessen the effectiveness of our efforts to release and shift the energy.  Our goal is to release the low vibrational energies and emotions, rather than anchor them in.  If it doesn’t entirely make sense now, no worries.  It will in time. 

I will call you at the number you provide between 0-5 minutes of the scheduled call time. Please have your phone ringer on. If you block private numbers, your phone company can change this so I can reach you for your appointment.

I will attempt to reach you up to 3 times. Calls will be up to 50 minutes, starting from my first attempt. Calls that are not answered due to no error or fault of my own will be forfeited and will not be refunded.  If you need to reschedule an appointment, please provide advanced notice 48 hours in advance. Exceptions may be considered for extraordinary circumstances. 

For clients located domestically here in the United States, the number I call you from may show up as “unknown caller”, so please answer at our scheduled date and time.

For international clients, please provide your Skype handle prior to the call and I will call you using the audio feature on Skype. 

Many clients who have practiced traditional forms of counseling for years have supplemented or replaced their psychologist or psychiatric appointments with energy work as a holistic form of therapy. These clients are typically blown away by the results they can achieve when they begin to treat the mind, body and spirit as a whole and address all three components together – -mental, emotional, and physical all at once for the very first time.   

You will learn to release low vibrational energies and unwanted emotions. You will learn tools to combat stress in the very first session with Lauren. It’s truly astonishing how quickly you can feel better, sleep better, and see evidence of upgrades in your reality by simply shifting your energy in a positive way. 

Some people are very sensitive, but you can clear and shift how your body reacts to clearing and consciousness work.

You can help our body process the clearing work by maintaining a clean diet. Your body knows what it needs and you may be surprised at how clear the answers are once you tune into your own intuition. The more you practice this, the better you’ll get. Start practicing and have fun with it! Be intuitive and ask “What does my body require today for nutrition?”, then choose to follow your guidance.

In general, our suggestions are to reduce your intake of dairy, alcohol, caffeine, white sugar, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives before you come in for the clearing session. Take a vitamin supplement including B Vitamins, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium. Choose to eat fresh fruits, lean protein and fresh vegetables. Enjoy healthy fresh squeezed juices. Drink pure, clean water. Ideally you want to choose natural spring water whenever possible over filtered water due to the natural minerals that are good for your body.

FYI – When you are processing you may crave sugar. It is your brain craving sugar. Try to increase your mineral intake and consume ‘sugars’ in a form that does not spike your blood sugar. (Hence the suggestion for protein and veggies and fruit.)

Spend more time outside in nature. Going barefoot outside in the grass helps with grounding. Soaking in hot mineral salt bath or Epsom salt bath a few times a week will help process the energy clearing because natural salts pull out toxins from the body.

Your body may need more sleep than usual for processing and integration. Sleep is when our bodies heal, integrate and reboot. In general, listen to what your body needs and be kind to it.

An Epsom salt bath can revitalize you quickly after spending hours or days doing intense energy clearing. The reason for this is that Epsom salts are a natural mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate which is readily absorbed into the skin in a bath salt soak. The salts relax the nervous system, draw toxins from the body, soothe sore muscles and so much more.

Magnesium regulates 325 enzymes, reduces inflammation, helps muscle and nerve function. In addition it prevents arteries from hardening in the body. Sulfates help improve the absorption of nutrients, flush toxins and ease migraine headaches.

Stress of any kind (especially when you feel emotional), will drain the body of magnesium and increases levels of adrenaline. That’s why after you take a bath salt soak you feel so relaxed and refreshed. You have restored your magnesium balance and eliminated toxins and heavy metal from your cells.

Sometimes when you are going through the clearing process, you might come up against confusion. For example, if you are asked a question during the session and you feel confused, come up blank, or have a hard time understanding. Our fears and limiting beliefs are housed in the mental energy field, which is associated with your brain. The brains natural inclination is to label, categorize, and organize in an effort to support the illusion of control. The known suffering or challenge seems safer to the ego/mind than the unknown potential. For this reason fear often comes up around any change, even the changes and shifts that are helpful and beneficial for us.

Most people have experienced a time in childhood where an authority figure negated their truth, told them verbally or taught them through actions and behaviors that it wasn’t okay or safe to be in awareness of the truth. A child may also have an experience that causes them to come to their own conclusion that it isn’t safe to know the truth. Therefore, the subconscious fear of connecting to the truth can be a contributing block, limiting belief, or engrained program that may need to be cleared first. Only then can we reach the underlying block that is stopping you from connecting to the truth, getting answers for yourself, and moving forward.

Yes, I often schedule blocks for appointments on weeknights and weekends when clients need to schedule around work and family. Payments are accepted through PayPal, Debit or Credit Cards, Personal Check or Money Orders. Payments must be received prior to the first session. 

I have a 2 Business Day Cancel / Change Policy. 

Cancellations, rescheduling or changes to your contact phone number made less than 48 HOURS in advance may result in charges equal to full session rate or forfeiture of a prepaid session. 

No refunds on services rendered.  Any rescheduling or cancellations less than 48 hours in advance will result in forfeiture of a prepaid session. First time clients may cancel private coaching programs or session packages within 3 business days after initial session, if at least 2 business days prior to 2nd sessions, to receive a refund of monies paid, less rate of individual session at time of initial appointment.  No refunds on private coaching program cancellations made later than 3 business days after initial session and less than 2 business days in advance of 2nd appointment.  Any appointments booked after initial session are non-refundable, except as applies above.
